Package: libc6 Version: 2.41-7 Severity: minor X-Debbugs-Cc: mgul...@gmail.com
Dear Maintainer, * What led up to the situation? Installed latest glibc 2.41-7 package from testing/trixie * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)? N/A * What was the outcome of this action? N/A * What outcome did you expect instead? I believe the glibc tunables environment variable name should be GLIBC_TUNABLES, and that is indeed what I see in the gitlab commit that added this, https://salsa.debian.org/glibc- team/glibc/-/commit/725728f16e621d4ee58e1fde6b596bf57c33e86b. However the NEWS.Debian file included in the package itself has different text: Glibc6_TUNABLES=glibc.rtld.execstack=2 ./program Thanks, Mike -- System Information: Debian Release: trixie/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 6.12.22-amd64 (SMP w/16 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages libc6 depends on: ii libgcc-s1 14.2.0-19 Versions of packages libc6 recommends: ii libidn2-0 2.3.8-2 Versions of packages libc6 suggests: ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.91 pn glibc-doc <none> ii libc-l10n 2.41-7 pn libnss-nis <none> pn libnss-nisplus <none> ii locales 2.41-7 -- debconf information excluded
