Source: austin
Version: 1.0.1-2
Severity: normal

austin's debian/control has:

  Homepage: https://github.com/P403n1x87/austin
  Vcs-Git: https://github.com/P403n1x87/austin
  Vcs-Browser: https://github.com/P403n1x87/austin

Homepage is fine; it makes sense for that to point to upstream.
However,
https://www.debian.org/doc/debian-policy/ch-controlfields.html#version-control-system-vcs-fields

says that the purpose of the Vcs-* fields is "to indicate a publicly
accessible repository where the Debian source package is developed", not
to point to upstream's version control. Please could you push a
suitable packaging repository to salsa.debian.org and point Vcs-* to
that instead?

(I think we would welcome having this package under the Debian Python
Team's namespace in salsa, if you'd be willing to have it be
team-maintained.)

Thanks,
