Hi Andreas,

I would like to ask you to close this ITS bug (or I will close it
myself if you do not).

I've picked up from what you did for kbdd package. Your changes
are now reflected and acknowledged in my repository here:

https://salsa.debian.org/smaslovski/kbdd

Please note that I've tested the 0.7.1 version of kbdd on my Debian
install and found that it does not work as it should. Namely, in this
version there is a bug with loosing layout group when switching focus
between windows (http://bugs.debian.org/#644661). Long ago, I fixed this
bug in version 0.6-4 with the patch "group-lost-on-focus-change-fix" that
you had to disable when upgrading the pkg source to the last upstream
release.

Unfortunately, there had been many changes upstream that made this fix
incompatible with the version 0.7.1. When time permits, I will look into
porting this patch to the latest version. Meanwhile, trixie will have to be
released with the older, but fully functional version of kbdd.

Please also note that at this moment kbdd is effectively abandoned
upstream: https://github.com/qnikst/kbdd/issues/52 This means that
whoever wants to maintain this package will have to fix bugs himself.
Perhaps, you were not prepared for this, as you even did not test
if the newer version of the program worked as expected.

With best regards,

Stanislav
