Control: found -1

Hi,

looks like the dependency was added in git:

https://salsa.debian.org/debian/wireshark/-/commit/d6b76745bfae4de957aeed5f06b0a6042ec30232

But not in the uploaded package:

https://sources.debian.org/src/wireshark/4.4.6-1/debian/control/#L212

I guess that the control file was regenerated from the control.in file so you may want to update that as well.

Also please ask for binNMUs of ndpi once this is confirmed to fix the bug.

Cheers Jochen

Hi,

I noticed that the libndpi-wireshark package contains a lua file in the
root directoy: /ndpi.lua. I am pretty sure that this is wrong.

The root cause is libwireshark-dev missing a dependency needed for its
pkg-config file:

$ pkg-config --variable=plugindir wireshark
$ pkg-config --cflags wireshark
Package glib-2.0 was not found in the pkg-config search path.
Perhaps you should add the directory containing `glib-2.0.pc'
to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable
Package 'glib-2.0', required by 'wireshark', not found
Package 'gmodule-2.0', required by 'wireshark', not found
Package 'gthread-2.0', required by 'wireshark', not found
$

Cheers Jochen
