Package: jcal
Version: 0.4.1-2.2
Severity: grave
Tags: upstream l10n
Justification: renders package unusable
X-Debbugs-Cc: dani.be...@ubuntu.com

Dear Maintainer,
The package jcal is currently based on the code originally written by
Ashkan Ghassemi (R.I.P.) who passed away in 2017. It now exhibits some
serious issues, most notably a one-day offset error in the calendar.

To address this, I suggest migrating the source code to the actively
maintained fork available at: https://github.com/persiancal/jcal

This fork appears to be live and actively maintained, which should help
resolve the current issues and ensure continued support and improvements
for the package.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Sincerely,
Danial Behzadi
