Yes, that's clear, but the question is "why?".

Maybe I do the required changes in hello [*], because it's an example package,
but before going any further, maybe we should have an idea of how many
affected packages there could be.

as the idea is to have something which may be cut & pasted
without changes to other packages doing the same as hello
(I have a few of them).
