We've inspected the logs more accurately and we've found
readlink("/home/gpk", "/export/big/gpk", 4096) = 15
Can you try with a local /home filesystem?
We don't think that should be an issue of kmobiletools, but a remote
home can give some problem to the Qt library.
We can do nothing excepts, probably, wait for a qt4 port of
kmobiletools (that will be ready in time for kde4, an year or more
from now...) So i'm thinking to close this bug report since we can do
anything...
