I used the BSP in Vienna to dig into this issue, but wasn't able to reproduce
the failure of the flaky test.
Found out that there is already a patch [0] that disables the flaky test on
x86 and powerpc64, so this appears to be just another occurrence of the same
issue on the next architecture.
Looks like the upstream author is the initial packager of the crate, and
already created an upstream issue for the flaky test.
