Hello Andreas,

It is nice to see my request has reached you.

I would gladly say yes to your proposition, but I don't know at the
moment if I will be able to take the necessary time to go over the
process for this workflow, in time, the right way, at the right time
and execute the needed steps.

- I gave a look at the pages you point to in this mail. There are more
than one thing which I am not aware of. (Here:
https://salsa.debian.org/qa/tiny_qa_tools/-/wikis/Tiny-QA-tasks "UDD"?
"VCS"?)

- On the github page, there are errors in the job,
https://salsa.debian.org/debian/obsession/-/jobs

- FabriceT had added a "xdg-autostart" to his creation at the time he
wrote it, which really is redundant with the one already existing in
Openbox.

(IMO we should never modify the Openbox scripts in a distribution in
order for another program to work).

All that would be needed would be to ensure the Openbox package does
have the required python-xdg dependancy, which is really none of
obsession business.

The last time I tried to create a package for the Debian repositories
was several years ago, and due to a hickup from the man you accepted to
be my mentor (he had forgotten to register as mentor on the page of my
request), I gave up and switched to a PPA in Ubuntu (which at the time
took me a full month to complete, but who counts?)

How much time can I have ahead to answer your proposition?

Also I would need a mentor : does your sponsorship proposition includes
/ involves, being my mentor?

Best regards,
Joyce
