Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

*** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where appropriate ***

   * What led up to the situation?
I just upgraded a copy of my Bookworm system to Trixie and watching TV via
dvb-c using my Sundtek-Stick did nor work anymore, instead mpv throws errors.

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?
mpv --list-protocols
...
dvb://
...
So protocol is included during build.

Instead I get following output:
$ mpv dvb://"ZDF HD"
[dvbin] Tuning to channel "ZDF HD"...
[dvbin] Tuning to DVB-C ANNEX A frequency 338000000 Hz
[dvbin] Not able to lock to the signal on the given frequency, timeout: 30
[dvbin] Error locking to channel
[dvbin] Tuning failed
Failed to open dvb://ZDF HD.
Exiting... (Errors when loading file)

I also supply a more verbose output (parameter "-v"):
....
[dvbin] Added adapter with channels to state list, now 1.
[dvbin] dvb_config: prog="ZDF HD", devno=0
[dvbin] Tuning to channel "ZDF HD"...

   * What outcome did you expect instead?
getting TV output as before under Bookworm with mpv v0.35
Please remember a similar problem with mpv 2 years ago during Bookworm
release, see Bug #1026060. Just for confirmation:
vlc shows dvb channels as before (channels.conf is up-to-date).

Of course SMPlayer (my favorite UI) is hit by this bug as well.
