libfltk1.4-compat-headers and libfltk1.3-compat-headers have lots of files in common. Yet they don't declare any Replaces nor Conflicts. As a result they may be concurrently unpacked and that goes wrong. It seems very likely that libfltk1.4-compat-headers should declare Conflicts: libfltk1.3-compat-headers. The underlying libfltkVER-dev packages use Provides+Conflicts: libfltk-dev. Maybe you also want to do that for the compat headers? Helmut
