Package: libqt6core6t64 Version: 6.8.2+dfsg-5+b1 Severity: normal [ 37.598292] warning: `kdeconnectd' uses wireless extensions which will stop working for Wi-Fi 7 hardware; use nl80211
I get the above message after logging in, this message only happens for the first process that triggers the condition. https://lists.opensuse.org/archives/list/fact...@lists.opensuse.org/thread/3V7KWU75IXZ42BW5WWHFJO4YGW37TKVG/ The above URL says that Qt is the cause of this. https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-114336 Above is the Qt upstream bug. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=466467 Above is the KDE bug. I think this is worthy of a Debian patch to KDE so we can have KDE working with Wifi7 hardware (which will become common during the time that Trixie is Stable). Also if we stop the noise from Qt programs we can get bug reports about other programs which have the same issue. -- System Information: Debian Release: trixie/sid Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 6.12.21-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_WARN Locale: LANG=en_AU.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_AU.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_AU:en Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: unable to detect Versions of packages libqt6core6t64 depends on: ii libb2-1 0.98.1-1.1+b2 ii libc6 2.41-6 ii libdouble-conversion3 3.3.1-1 ii libgcc-s1 15-20250213-1 ii libglib2.0-0t64 2.84.0-2 ii libicu76 76.1-3 ii libpcre2-16-0 10.45-1 ii libstdc++6 15-20250213-1 ii libzstd1 1.5.7+dfsg-1 ii shared-mime-info 2.4-5+b2 ii zlib1g 1:1.3.dfsg+really1.3.1-1+b1 Versions of packages libqt6core6t64 recommends: pn qt6-translations-l10n <none> libqt6core6t64 suggests no packages. -- debconf-show failed
