Package: zoph Version: 1.4-1 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
zoph currently depends on libapache2-mod-php. However, it is also possible use it with php-fpm. So it should allow the PHP dependency to be satisfied with php-fpm also. The dependency can be listed as 'libapache2-mod-php | php-fpm'. In FreedomBox, we have long ago switched to php-fpm. This allows us to use Apache's event worker model and use a separate php-fpm daemon for all PHP applications. When zoph app is installed in FreedomBox, it brings in libapache2-mod-php which automatically enables the mod_php which also switches the worker model to mpm-prefork. When performing distribution upgrade from Bookworm to Trixie mod-php also failed to migrate from 8.2 to 8.4 properly and caused Apache startup failure. Currently, we plan to work around this bug in FreedomBox[1].
