I am away from the computer that was giving me the issue and using another 
machine that does not have the same problem, it has an Intel built in GPU, MPV 
0.40.0-2 shows up as VAAPI without problem. I think the issue is with my new 
Trixie install missing some driver on my original machine, so please close this 
issue (I am afraid I can't seem to find how to do that). Cheers!
