Obsolete results show up in all kind of places, e.g. in the alerts page, in the status overview. I think it would be good for all practical displays we ignore results older than a threshold of, say, half a year.
This particularly annoys me a bit currently when I try to investigate tmpfails for loong64. Quite a lot of them have been removed from the archive.
There is a "removed" column in the packages database, but it's not clear what it's purpose is and if that should be used for this. I think not, as a package can be removed from unstable and testing but still exist in stable and oldstable for several years.
