Dear Maintainer, I normally run images I plan to send attached to emails through iloveimg.com. I've noticed that screenshots taken by MATE screenshot get reduced to 1/4 of their size. This seems like a lot. PNG supports multiple compression methods and apparently you can mix them up. Ideally one wants the maximum compression possible, but, something reasonably close would be nice. -- System Information: Debian Release: 12.10 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable-security'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 6.1.0-32-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=en_CA.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_CA.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_CA:en Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages mate-utils-common depends on: ii dconf-gsettings-backend [gsettings-backend] 0.40.0-4 mate-utils-common recommends no packages. mate-utils-common suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
