I've added 'snd_hda_intel.model=1043:1271' to the end of
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT in /etc/default/grub then ran 'sudo update-grub'
and rebooted, choose the non-working kernel, and the audio input still did
not work. Any other ideas?
