I lauch the command «wget ....». It works fine, I got in the /var/cache/apt/apt-file directory: -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 11168494 2006-06-11 22:50 ftp.de.debian.org_debian_dists_unstable_Contents-i386.gz If you lauch the wget command by hand can you get the Contents file from ftp.de.debian.org ? -- Sebastien J.
