Thanks for your report. I managed to reproduce the problem, dug into the source code and found a way to improve the situation. I forwarded the issue upstream: https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/dia/-/issues/566.
According to Dia FAQ[1], it's possible to have antialiasing. Some people even mention[2] an antialias exporter which I can't find in Dia from Debian. These links are quite old. Link [1] mentions libart for antialiasing support, yet libart dependency was removed since (https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/dia/-/commit/665f9429dc7ad9a27cc6c0c265e586f37a5db33a). Philippe.
