Dear Maintainer, *** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where appropriate *** * What led up to the situation? The installation ... produces wrong links... so mini-httpd didnt start at boot up. service mini-httpd status told me its down. So I startet it with service mini-httpd start . It worked but I want a starb on boot. First step: controll the links in /etc/rc*.d/ The links in /etc/rc*.d/ to /itc/init.d/ had wrong names, *BINGO* There was K insteed of S so mini-httpd didnt start. * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)? I changed the names of the links in /etc/rc*.d/ and replaced the K with S. I also addes a line START=1 in /etc/defaults/mini-httpd, * What was the outcome of this action? After reboot mini-httpd started like it should. But I didnt know if the line START=1 is nessesary and im to lazy to reboot and test it. *sorry* * What outcome did you expect instead? Why should I expect to fail? *** End of the template - remove these template lines *** -- System Information: Debian Release: 12.10 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable-security'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 6.1.0-32-amd64 (SMP w/1 CPU thread; PREEMPT) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_WARN Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages mini-httpd depends on: ii init-system-helpers 1.65.2 ii libc6 2.36-9+deb12u10 ii libcrypt1 1:4.4.33-2 ii libssl3 3.0.15-1~deb12u1 ii sysvinit-utils [lsb-base] 3.06-4 Versions of packages mini-httpd recommends: ii apache2-utils 2.4.62-1~deb12u2 mini-httpd suggests no packages. -- Configuration Files: /etc/default/mini-httpd changed [not included] added line: START=1 /etc/mini-httpd.conf changed [not included] only a few boring local changes. -- no debconf information
