Hm, and a migration to a different API (#1041048). Where does that fit into
things, does it also need to be included in stable?
Looks like this one is needed as well :(.
According to https://docs.api.met.no/doc/sunrise/astro.html
"Sunrise 2.0 ... This service is deprecated and will be terminated on 1
Sept 2023." and trying it gives a HTTP 404 with "The specified version
number is end-of-lifed for this product".
https://gitlab.xfce.org/panel-plugins/xfce4-weather-plugin/-/commit/e3dde9e1d65c63bfd899b2a1deaff079a8faa82f
is the commit.
This one plus the one I originally intended to get the weather working
again is the minimal set.
There's a segfault fix
https://gitlab.xfce.org/panel-plugins/xfce4-weather-plugin/-/commit/4722640c7a3ed0e8134d1ca0512ff01611b84f85
a memory leak fix
https://gitlab.xfce.org/panel-plugins/xfce4-weather-plugin/-/commit/93f6755fb9e93344a01d8b13d4f8a4dba4af60fe
and two other plugin crash fixes
https://gitlab.xfce.org/panel-plugins/xfce4-weather-plugin/-/commit/2ff9598141681ac0b18856944ef12ac161168e6f
and
https://gitlab.xfce.org/panel-plugins/xfce4-weather-plugin/-/commit/ced862292318d40f7dea4f53e6a00366234e2722
to backport.
Do you maintain that is necessary effort over "just" getting the
0.11.3-1 version from stable-backports into stable-p-u (as
0.11.3-1+deb12u1 then)?
Kind regards,
Daniel
