I've put gettext in salsa because I understand that it's better to have it in salsa than not having it salsa. I particularly like that the changes can now be seen in granular form, the fact that the buildability may be checked before upload, and the fact that autopkgtests may also be checked before upload, including wip branches. However, I do not feel comfortable enough to enable MR on my packages, so that part will have to wait. ( I'm closing with the version which added Vcs fields in the control file ). Thanks.
