On https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1101232, a regression was spotted through a rebuild of the package, the unit tests (dh_auto_test) of libmicrohttpd broke. Can you add an autopkgtest running those same tests? This way the debci service will re-run the tests anytime we update the curl package, and then we have a guarantee that the problem will be detected, and it will also be detected quite quickly.
