I think this keystore backend has some integration issues. First, it does not ship any service manager files, so the daemon does not get started. I think it should provide at least a systemd user session service (I think upstream already provides ones). Second, I think it's currently being installed in a path that is not the one expected by sq, so it does not get detected and not started on demand when sq would otherwise need it. The expected path is currently /usr/lib/sequoia/sequoia-keystore, but I think ideally the server would be installed instead into /usr/libexec/sequoia/sequoia-keystore, but I'm not sure whether that would require changes when building other crates.
