You are adding one USB device ID, but smsusb supports 42 different device IDs. The correct fix for this would be to improve the scripts to also take module dependencies into account, so that we can detect: - smsusb supports USB device IDs 2014:0257, etc. - smsusb depends on smsmdtv - smsmdtv requests firmware files tdmb_nova_12mhz.inp, etc. - Therefore the package containing tdmb_nova_12mhz.inp, etc. (i.e. firmware-siano) is related to device IDs 2014:0257, etc. Ben. -- Ben Hutchings Larkinson's Law: All laws are basically false.
