Indeed! This has been reported by a soundconverter user [1].
There will be more as python3-pkg-resources get globally removed. Same thing for undeclared usage of python3-six.
Autopkgtests should be able to catch such issues, right? If so, it should be nice to add autopkgtests even for GUI applications, even just for calling '--help'. I guess 'soundconverter --help' should have failed due to missing python3-pkg-resources.
