I've noticed that cubeb, one of the packages I maintain using debputy (btw, thanks Niels for converting it!), has stopped building.

I understand the trigger of the error and I think it will be a trivial patch once I find the right place to put the fix. If I am correct, this is not specific to `cmake`. Since it is not a regression in 0.1.66, I will wait until 0.1.66 migrate. This way, I can do an 0.1.67 with only this patch in case it does not migrate before the freeze on its own.
