I am unable to reproduce this. Can you give a more detailed description on how to trigger the bug? - What was your search string? Does it crash for all? - What account type did you have? - Does evolution crash or hang when viewing any of the mails in the mailbox? - Can you remove mails from the mailbox some at a time and try to find the problematic mail?
