Can you please send the exact error message?
An easy way is to install the bsdutils package (if you can install it,
maybe the error above will make it abort) and run the script command,
e.g.
  script test.log
This will create a test.log file containing everything displayed on
your screen. Run
  dpkg --purge belocs-locales-bin belocs-locales-data
to remove belocs-locales-data, let it break, then type exit to
exit from the transcript log, and send the generated test.log file.

If you cannot install bsdutils, please cut and paste the error message.
