with version 3.8-1 the postinst started to rebuild the pre-compiled fcontext database to upgrade those to the new binary format version. Currently this uses semodule, which is unnecessary heavy-weight and might have reduced compatibility, e.g. with monolithic policies. Please consider using sefcontext_compile directly, see https://salsa.debian.org/selinux-team/libselinux/-/merge_requests/11 for a proposal.
