I also miss this feature in apt-rdepends and asked around today on #debian-devel to see if there is an alternate solution. I was provided with the following shell function:
apt-rbdepends () {
grep-dctrl -F Build-Depends "$1" -s Package /var/lib/apt/lists/*_Sources
}
I didn't see that this had been documented anywhere, and I figured that
people might look here.
