Thanks. So this is indeed an issue related to the sysv init scripts. I'm lowering the severity of this bug to wishlist. Your initial bug report includes this line: Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) If you are indeed using systemd, then use systemctl(1) and ignore the sysv /etc/init.d/* sysv-related scripts. -- Paride
