The relevant prototype issues should now be fixed in the git repo. (There are still more #ifdef's with macros that should be removed, but they should not prevent compilation with modern compilers.)
The other C23 issues are tracked here: https://github.com/hannob/uudeview/issues/32 We need to define some C feature macros, but that also causes a compatibility issue with hostent (see CI failure). Have to look into this later, shouldn't be too hard to fix. Call for help: Is anyone here actively using inews? I maintain it due to my interest in keeping the uudeview tool alive, yet inews is part of it.
