I forgot that docs are shipped in emacs-common-non-dfsg.Anyway maybe it is better to advertise changes in NEWS.Debian, so docs updates may be a source of inspiration for a brief guide how to enable `elisp-flymake-byte-compile' again (this time for specific projects).
