Hi, I had to redo the whole analysis to understand the mail... rough monday ;-)
I don't know the genealogy between python-pysmi-lextudio and pysmi
I hope we're not packaging the same thing twice for no reason.
A bit about this...
The original author of pysnmi / pysnm / etc died, and it was unclear if
the repository could be recovered. So lextudio decided to fork. Then
*some* repository were recovered, but not all. At this point, it's very
unclear to me which *lextudio packages should be removed from Debian,
and which one should stay. More in details:
Currently, there's in Debian:
python-pysmi-lextudio
python-pyasn1-modules-lextudio
python-pyasn1-lextudio
python-pysnmp-lextudio
Some of the above packages should be RM, though I've heard some should
stay. If one finds out, I'd love to have a clearer overview of what
should be done.
Cheers,
