Yes, I think so too. But I asked in #debci and nobody knows of any changes in how the underlying container is built. I uploaded a new version of mmdebstrap to unstable which fixes a couple of things. According to [1] there is no problem with mmdebstrap autokpgtests and the new util-linux anymore.
