There seem to be a race. With a different laptop using a Core Ultra 5
135U, connected by USB-C to two 4k screens, I can see 3 different kind
of behavior:
1) OK: both 4K displays show the same as the laptop screen, scaled.
Expected Plymouth Breeze theme screen. Rare;
2) Shift/scaling issue: the screen content is OK, but on the laptop it's
shifted as if it was a bigger image than the screen, centered. So one
can only see the bottom right corner. On both 4K displays the image only
uses the top-left corner. Rare;
3) Split: the Plymouth display has a top part, and on the bottom there
is the LUKS decryption input and later success message. In this case,
both are dissociated: on the 4k screen the regular display is top-left,
the LUKS message top-right. On the laptop things are shifted and one
can't see much. That's the most common case.
On another laptop I'm only ever see (3). This is on Trixie in both cases.
