Previously I have IPC Silver certificated worked as a solder monkey for IBM, mending Five Eyes computers under a 40X microscope, so obviously I can build a computer no ESD from me! This BPI-M5 that I have been suffering, I put a heatsink on the CPU, installed DS3231 (DS1307,) RTC module, & put the board into the proprietary acrylic case. Armbian is a useful tool but trying to install GRUB in Armbian (amongst other things,) is a joke which is no good to me because my objective is create live-build (which I done on Khadas VIM1 no sweat,) and I havn't got the time. I will go back to an earlier chipset, different chipset. It's a crying shame, the board came out in 2020, if only everybody worked as conscientiously as Debian. Now what would make me most happy indeed is to donate this micro-pc to the Debian Kernel Team, or somebody. Speed ship gratis worldwide. Please will somebody take up this opportunity please.
