I vote: S > A > F Rationale: To me, S is the least bad option. It's self-contained and follows the precedent set in other distros. It obviously needs to be time-limited as we expect systemd-resolved to continue to develop and at some point become a reasonable replacement for avahi-daemon. I do not find option A as objectionable as some others do. I think it's OK for packages to adjust the behaviour of each other, when coordinated. This isn't a situation where both sides think that this is the right approach, so I can understand others voting it below F. Stefano -- Stefano Rivera http://tumbleweed.org.za/ +1 415 683 3272
