Passing only --host-arch to the debuild command leads to an incorrect host (target) architecture set. I think it is due to line https://salsa.debian.org/debian/devscripts/-/blob/main/scripts/debuild.pl?ref_type=heads#L806. I had to add the -a option to make debuild use the correct architecture for every step * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)? * What was the outcome of this action? Not working cross compilation that would search for an inexistent amd64.changes file even when building for arm64 * What outcome did you expect instead?
