Hi, I've just spotted this after I added this package locally to those we test via autopkgtests in src:apparmor. This problem will be fixed once we have AppArmor 4.x in Debian. I am working on it but it's not clear whether this can happen in time for Trixie (e.g. because the version we should include is still in beta). So for Trixie I would suggest you adjust the AppArmor policy to be compatible with 3.x.
