Tobias, I tested the gnome-shell-pomodoro extension briefly with Ubuntu 25.04 with GNOME Shell 48 Beta and the extension appeared to work for me. So I forwarded my minimal metadata upstream, basically the same as the patch you pushed to your Salsa repo. https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell-pomodoro/0.26.0-1ubuntu1 https://github.com/gnome-pomodoro/gnome-pomodoro/pull/726 I haven't tested the autohidetopbar extension yet but I'll let you know if I get to it before you. To test for yourself, you could use a daily ISO of Ubuntu 25.04: https://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/current/ Or you could install gnome-shell from Experimental on top of either Debian Testing or Unstable. I don't object to you lowering the severity, but practically these bugs are RC and they will be removed from Testing faster than the RC autoremoval clock if they are not fixed regardless of the bug severity. We will start the transition before March 11. Our current transition blockers are https://bugs.debian.org/1096037 and significantly lowering the number of open bugs at https://udd.debian.org/cgi-bin/bts-usertags.cgi?user=pkg-gnome-maintainers%40lists.alioth.debian.org&tag=gnome-shell-48 . We also need approval from the Debian Release Team. Once we're ready, we prefer to do the transition promptly rather than wait because we promised a later arbitrary date. I hope you can see how we have a general idea of the timing but we are unable today to give you the exact date. Extensions that are removed from Testing are allowed to migrate back to Testing before the Soft Freeze on April 15. On behalf of the Debian GNOME team Jeremy Bícha
