Package: plymouth Version: 24.004.60-2+b2 Severity: normal Hi,
a reoccurring topic d-u mailing list is the size of the initrds. Today I wanted to check what's the current contributor. I found a few files from plymouth which are quite large and simply don't serve any purpose: glow.xcf logo+emerald.svg Emerald_plymouth.svg The XCF file should probably not delivered at all (it's GIMP editable file, i.e. source code). The SVG versionis of the pictures are not references in the script there, only PNG versions I could see. Please exclude them and save that space. Even if that's just a megabyte or so when compressed.
