Do you think it would be better to move the git repo to the
gnustep-team group? Or do I put it in the plain debian group?

This entirely depends on you; you are the maintainer. You are welcome
to join the GNUstep team even if you don't have interest in other
GNUstep packages and don't plan to work on them. But this means you
give carte blanche to other team members (that's just me and Alex
<tar>) to make changes to paje.app.

So, I switched to gnustep-team. It is always better to work in a team.

To move it to gnustep-team, I would need you to create the (empty)
repo and give me (vdanjean) rights on it.

I've done that but the UI does not allow me to create an empty repo.

You have to uncheck a little check-box to do so (in the page where you type the
name of the new project).

It insists on putting a dummy README.md there (annoying). I don't
remember how I worked around this before, I guess I pushed directly my
locally created repo. If it doesn't work for you, please let me know
and I'll delete the project and recreate it afresh.

Nonetheless, I push my packaging to 'master' (and not 'main') (same as other
apps in the gnustep-team group).
Now, you should switch the default branch to 'master' and remove the 'main'
branch (so the commit with the README will disappear).
If you want I do it myself, you have to give me 'owner' role (instead of
'maintainer') in the git repo.

I remade most of the packaging (switching to debhelper)

  Regards,
    Vincent
