Hi Matthias, the upstream package rename provided an unique opportunity to modernize the packaging. The opportunity allows us to utilize modern systemd facilities, like utilization of DynamicUser which brings lots of benefits to the service. Unfortunatly, this makes the old init script incompatible. Updating, if possible at all, would requite significant effort I prefer to spent elsewhere, and maintaining will also be non-zero effort.
