Hi, I also tested hello as you mentioned ($ sbuild --host=ppc64 -d unstable hello_2.10-3) and I got more or less the same results. I tried a few archs, some succeeded and some did not. None of the debian-ports archs that I tried (ppc64, riscv64, sparc64) succeed, so my hunch is that debian-ports archs are not supported properly or I'm doing something wrong :).
