I checked again the IANA site and it says that ecmascript is obsoleted

This is correct.
I think that I will move .es to the end of the suffix list of
text/javascript, and upload that soon.
This is not. As I tried to explain in my previous message, ".es" files
should not be sent with the text/javascript media type.
The IANA registration says that ".js" maps to text/javascript, ".es"
maps to text/ecmascript, and that text/ecmascript (and by extension,
".es") should not be used in new deployments. This does not make ".js"
and ".es" synonyms.
Hope it's clearer now :)
Bye!
P.S. Sorry for my brief reply. I'm currently unable to use my right arm,
and typing with my left hand is... Suboptimal.
