Package: src:dhewm3

Dear Maintainer,
Would it be possible for you to add additional upstream tarballs to this
source package (DebSrc3.0 supports that) and build the libraries for
mods from the dhewm3-sdk repository ?
You are already splitting the game code for dhewm3-doom3 & dhewm3-d3xp
in separate packages, the new binary packages for mods would look
exactly like those.
Or do you think that it doesn't fit in src:dhewm3 and that I should make
another source package in Debian for that ?
Why I am asking that ?
Because in game-data-packager we currently supports 2 dhewm3 mods
(Classic Doom 3 and The Lost Mission), and to supports those, in
addition to download/package pure data we also download code from
github, build it and ship a so library in the generated .deb. This is
fragile and not frequently tested (we don't rebuild very often those
kind of data package), and I'm in search of an alternative to ship those
game mods libraries properly somewhere else in Debian.
