This bug is reported on many issues upstream. e.g. see: https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/dia/-/issues/519 https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/dia/-/merge_requests/114 https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/dia/-/issues/552 It seems the bug is patched but I am still experiencing it in Debian. It makes Dia unusable for me, because the property page of even a simple Text object takes a long time and much resources to show. thanks Farid
