Your setup is explicitly not supported by goldendict-ng. According to https://xiaoyifang.github.io/goldendict-ng/topic_wayland/ , the goldendict-ng upstream is looking for help on the best way forward or wayland support. Please consider sending your help upstream. Thanks, Boyuan Yang
